This 1461 is expertly handcrafted using Phoenix leather from C. F. Stead and takes its design inspiration from early versions of DM’s platforms. Phoenix is a full grain leather with a heavy wax top that creates strong pull-up character and a rich colour contrast. Dr Martens 1461 3-eye shoe are built on an 85 “bump toe” last and constructed on a trans Bex outsole with yellow welt stitching.
